So this blog was supposed to be created yesterday but I had other thoughts on my mind and I forgot all about it. 
So I am posting it today instead! You got one blog yesterday and you get three today! This Friday Fresh random blog review (except on Saturday this go round) is featuring, Chris Bailey’s Kentucky Weather Blog, a weather blog focusing on the state of Kentucky. Now I actually randomly found this blog! Its a coincidence though because I am actually into meteorology! I have been a certified SKYWARN storm spotter for over 10 years and I even chase storms all across the United States. I even run some big weather related websites including Chaser Update and National SKYWARN Forum. But still, Chris deserves a free plug for his blog because it turned out to be a really nice blog!
It seems to be frequently updated! That is a big plus because if you are going to blog about the weather, you will have to blog a lot because the weather changes every freaking second. I remember days of driving 300+ miles looking to stalk a tornado or two and not even seeing a drop of rain. We in the industry call that a bust, a major one at that. But that is how weather is, so blogging about it, well it will keep you busy. Chris’s content is wonderful, he adds reports in both text and video. When you add video to a blog as well as text, it makes the blog more interesting to read especially for those folks that don’t have a lot of time to sit and read something, they can watch or listen to the video instead.
Chris has made nice customization to the blog itself! His photo is included with the header image that has a professional title and graphical look to it. His photo being present will really help to shape and develop his brand. He has added quite a few custom widgets to his sidebars that include weather search and forecasts, that is a big plus on a weather-related niche blog, in my opinion and he is active on the blog!
Well done, Chris, well done! I hope you enjoy this free plug and review! The only suggestion I have is to get your own domain!
